Working Groups

Working groups are an integral part of CSESoc and are responsible for directly interacting with the students through events, publications, this website, etc. Each working group is run by a head, and that head is selected by the executive and is part of the working group committee. In 2010, the Working Groups will be Beta, Publicity, Social, SysAdmin, and Tech Events.

We're beginning to form working groups for 2010 and we want you! We're looking for enthusiastic CSESoc members to head up these working groups and we're taking applications from now until 24/11 (5pm), a week after exams. Applications should include any information you would want us to know when evaluating you as a working group head, and should be sent to csesoc@cse.unsw.edu.au.

Working groups are given a bit of autonomy, so applicants should have ideas on they want their team to function. Additionally, applicants should have leadership skills, and the time & know-how to get things done!
