New to CSE in 2017?
The CSESoc Student Network is a program which is designed for new UNSW students to adjust to life at CSE. You'll be paired with a suitable mentor, who you can direct your questions to. There are also events scheduled throughout Semester 1 such as BBQs, a scavenger hunt, pizza night and trivia where you can meet and greet your mentor and fellow mentees.
Events will be scheduled away from common first-year lecture times to maximise the chances of making them, but don't get too stressed if you end up missing an event or two.
The mentee signup form for Semester 1 2017 can be found here.
More information about the program can be found here.
If you have any questions about the program, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Student Mentor applications for Semester 1 are now open!
The CSE Student Network is a program run by CSESoc to help new students adjust to life at CSE. Undergraduates and Postgraduates volunteer their time to help make these new students feel welcome and supported. This is done through a series of social events and one-to-one meetings. By becoming a Mentor, you will also have your volunteering recognised on your graduation statement (AHEGS).
If you would like to be considered as a new Mentor for 2017 you will need to undergo training that is provided by the UNSW Peer Mentoring service. Our current available date for training is Friday, 3 February, 9:30am - 2:00pm.
The signup form for becoming a mentor can be found here.
More information on the responsibilities of a mentor can be found here.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email us at email@example.com.
